Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of QANTHOS (the “Software”) and the qanthoslab.com website (the “Site”), provided by QANTHOS Lab. By using the Software or the Site, you fully accept these Terms.

1. Description of the service

QANTHOS is a Windows desktop application built for systematic traders, regardless of the underlying instrument (futures, CFDs, forex, crypto, etc.). It provides strategy analysis tools (walk-forward analysis, robustness testing, Monte Carlo simulation), portfolio analytics, and live portfolio monitoring.

QANTHOS does not:

• send orders to a broker or execute trades on the user’s behalf;
• provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or trading signals;
• guarantee results, profits, or the absence of losses.

Trading decisions remain at all times the sole responsibility of the user.

2. Derivatives trading risk

Trading derivative instruments (futures, CFDs, forex and similar) involves a significant risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. The metrics, backtest results, and analyses shown by QANTHOS describe past or simulated behavior and are not a guarantee of future results. Use the Software only if you understand and accept these risks.

3. Beta phase and product status

QANTHOS is currently distributed as a free, private beta, reserved for a select group of beta testers. The Software is provided “as is”, may contain errors, and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. No service level agreement (SLA) is guaranteed during this phase.

4. License to use

By accepting these Terms, QANTHOS Lab grants the user a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software, limited to its intended use and for the duration of the active license (including the beta license). You may not:

• decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Software, except as permitted by applicable law;
• redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Software to third parties;
• circumvent the license or activation mechanisms (including hardware fingerprinting).

5. User account

Some features of the Site and the Software require creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account.

6. Intellectual property

The Software, the Site, the QANTHOS brand, and all related content (code, design, documentation, text) are the property of QANTHOS Lab and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers to the user any ownership rights in the Software or the Site.

7. No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Software and the Site are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of third-party rights.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QANTHOS Lab shall not be liable for financial, trading, or other losses, direct or indirect, arising from the use or inability to use the Software or the Site, including trading decisions made based on the analyses provided by the Software.

9. Changes to these Terms

QANTHOS Lab reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Site or by email. Continued use of the Software or the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute will be subject to the competent court as determined by applicable law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions.
